Happy Birthday to Me.

So I finally got my itouch blogger to work. I had to delete it and re-download it. It only works to write and read my own blogs. Which I guess is enough for now. For example I am having my birthday lunch right now at the cafe. Their paninis are my favorite, but service is slow here. Leaving me enough time to write through their wifi. The app is nice, but it leaves something to be desired. It's still easier to just blog from my laptop.

Anyhow, today is my birthday, 25, I feel very old today. Mostly I think it's because of the company I keep. Everyone I work with is turning 21 this year. Needless to say they look suprised when they find out how old I am, more like shock that I am so old not suprised. I live with my cousin Andrew, who just turned 19, giving us a six year age gap. I'll say hey, I remember when this song came out my sophmore year of highschool. To which he responds, "I was 10". Then there's my daughter, who is 19 months, if that doesn't age you, I don't know what else does.

I have an almost two year old daughter. She isn't a baby anymore, and I don't know when she grew, let alone where the last two years of my life went. I feel like I am still 23, and the world is moving on without me. There is so much I want to do in this world, and I feel like so much time has already passed me by... Wasted time. Birthdays have become less exciting for me, and more of a confliction between my emotions and my brain these days.

For the rest of today I will just enjoy my one special day of the year, with my beautiful baby, who loves me no matter how old I get. Happy birthday to me.

Ps. The older you get, other people also stop caring about your birthday too. Lol. I only got 2 happy birthday calls and 2 texts, 1 letter and 2 cards. (that's 5 family members and two friends).
