Photo Dump Friday:
My sister is here! My sister is finally here!! It has literally been 365 days since I saw her last, and so much of life has gone by that she has only seen in pictures. Tears welled up my eyes all week as I thought of the moment she would see her nephew for the very first time. Looking back, I can't believe how afraid I was for people to meet him. How I thought I wanted to hide away for weeks until they fixed it. How I thought 6 months was too long to wait to fix it. Now, I wish everyone could have met him the day he was born. I am so thankful right now that Auntie Kendra got to cuddle him, love him, and stare at him with his adorable little lip!
Now it saddens me that soo much of my family will never know him like this. They will never see his gorgeous wide open smile and his drooling giggles. It saddens me that I didn't believe in the moment when the moment was here, and there isn't a lot of time left. Everyday I just want to soak him in as he is, knowing that in just two months he won't be the same. He will still be my perfect little baby boy, but I will miss his smile.
